Air Handling Units (AHU)

Industrial Air Handling Units (AHUs) are large mechanical systems designed to regulate and circulate air within factories, warehouses, production facilities, and other industrial environments. They are typically made up of components such as fans, filters, heating or cooling coils, dampers, and humidifiers, all working together to control temperature, humidity, ventilation, and air quality. By drawing in outside air, filtering it, conditioning it, and distributing it throughout a building, AHUs play a critical role in creating a safe and comfortable indoor environment for both workers and sensitive industrial processes.
 

In industrial settings, AHUs are often custom-built to meet the demands of specific applications, such as maintaining cleanroom standards in pharmaceuticals, removing contaminants in chemical plants, or ensuring proper ventilation in large-scale manufacturing. They help reduce airborne pollutants, regulate moisture to prevent corrosion or product damage, and maintain stable conditions that improve energy efficiency and productivity. Due to the size and complexity of industrial spaces, these units are usually much larger and more powerful than those used in commercial buildings, often integrated with advanced automation and monitoring systems for precise environmental control.
